Overseeding can help improve the overall appearance and health of your lawn. Overseeding will help by thickening up thin lawns and fill in damaged areas that may have died off for any number of reasons. Overseeding can be effective by itself but we have found that when combined with aeration the results improve dramatically. By aerating first it gives the seed areas to "bite" into to soil easier and start the germination process. Overseeding can be performed either in the spring or early fall. If you choose to do spring overseeding we may need to adjust your lawn care program so certain products would not interfere with the results of the seeding process.

An example of the damage grubs can to do a lawn if left untreated:

Perimeter Pest Control

We offer weekly lawn mowing services for homes which include mowing, trimming and edging (edging is performed every other week). We have trained, experienced crews using top of the line, new equipment. Your lawn is scheduled for the same day every week (weather permitting) with the same crew. You never need to wonder when and if we are going to show up. If you are interested please contact our office to see if we service your area.

Lawn Core Aeration

Aeration is one of the most important cultural practices available for your lawn. Aeration helps control thatch, improve soil structure, helps create growth pockets for new roots, and opens the way for water and fertilizer to reach the root zone of your lawn. Annual aeration is highly recommended every Spring. For compacted soil lawns an additional Fall aeration is also recommended.

Perimeter Pest Control is a series of treatments that provide an insect shield around your home, reducing the number of insects such as ants, millipedes, centipedes, pill bugs, sow bugs, silverfish, cockroaches, a variety of crickets, and many types of spiders. By treating the exterior of the home, you can stop pests in their tracks before they even get inside and invade your family’s living space. Ninety percent of all pests come from outside, making our Perimeter Pest Control an effective, hassle-free way to protect you and your home.

Mulch Installation

Mulch not only beautifies planting beds with an attractive layer of material over bare soil, it also has several positive benefits, such as:

  • Inhibits weed germination and growth. (Weeds are not only unsightly, but they also steal resources from desirable garden plants!)

  • Holds in soil moisture, protecting your plants from drying out quickly

  • Moderates soil-temperature fluctuations (This benefit is especially valuable during that turbulent-weather period in spring when you don't want your plants to be stressed.)

  • In winter, protects plant roots from winter cold and helps prevent frost-heaving, in which plants are literally pushed out of the ground by the natural expansion and contraction of the soil as it cools off and heats up

  • In summer, helps keep plant roots cooler

  • Adds a bit of welcome nutrition to your garden as it breaks down

We offer several types and colors of Mulch. Call our office today for a free quote.
